JASON & TIFFANY TOWNSEND
Jason and Tiffany Townsend are the founding pastors of City Point Church. Originally from Las Vegas, NV (Jason) and Gadsden, Alabama (Tiffany), Jason and Tiffany have served in ministry for over 20 years. From a young age Jason always dreamed of planting a church.
While doing ministry in Florida The Lord put the state of Tennessee on their hearts and ultimately led them to visit a city that they knew nothing about. From the moment they stepped foot in Knoxville they felt the favor of God leading them. They began to feel the Lord stir their hearts for the people and families of this wonderful city.
In 2021 they packed up everything they owned and sold their home and moved to Knoxville to pursue the vision the Lord put in their hearts.
City Point Church launched in the basement of their home in January 2022. The church quickly outgrew their basement. As the Lord leads them, City Point Church has moved to a couple of different rental properties and are currently in the process of finding a permanent location to call home.
Jason and Tiffany both have a huge desire to see people experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. It is their heart to see people of all ages to come to know Christ in a real and authentic way. It is also their dream to see people discover and pursue the God-given destiny that is on every human beings life.
Jason & Tiffany have been married since 2007. They also have two boys: Judah and Jonas. Their whole family is full of energy and ready to spend the rest of their lives pursuing what the Lord has calling them to do in the City of Knoxville!
